Ordinary lives, Extraordinary stories.
Founder of Greycat Digital LLP, a self-made entrepreneur Mukesh’s story is a testament to the fact that you can create your own reality, no matter where you come from or the obstacles you face.
Born in Kharagpur, Mukesh faced immense challenges early on, including the loss of his mother shortly after birth. Raised by his grandparents in Visakhapatnam, Mukesh’s journey to success was far from conventional.
Growing up in Visakhapatnam, Mukesh’s access to education was limited. At the age of 16, he realized that what he was learning in school wasn’t aligned with his goals or the future he envisioned for himself. Unwilling to settle for a subpar education, Mukesh made the bold decision to drop out of school and pursue self-learning, despite the lack of a concrete plan. With a strong sense of inner clarity and belief in himself, he embraced the uncertainty, choosing to have faith in his ability to figure things out along the way.
This decision wasn’t accepted by his family or society at the time. Dropping out of the education system was seen as unconventional and Mukesh faced both financial constraints and the disapproval of those around him. The challenges he encountered at such a young age were immense—obstacles that would cause many to lose hope. But Mukesh refused to give up. Instead, he took control of his journey.
Despite the hardships, he used free online resources to teach himself skills in graphic design, website development and UI/UX. In his words,
Mukesh’s life is proof that you can piece together the resources and knowledge available to you, no matter how limited, and build something extraordinary.
His message to the world is clear: if you’re less fortunate and don’t have access to the same privileges or opportunities as others, don’t accept that as your reality. You have the power to change your circumstances.
Mukesh’s journey, grounded in determination, non-conformity and a relentless pursuit of self-improvement, shows that no matter where you start, you can shape your own story.
